Food Atlas
A large-format book for University of Cincinnati professor R. Alan Wight is a complete local food history of Cincinnati. Dr. Wight’s goal was to combine academic content with visually informative artwork from local contributors. As Creative Director, my job was to conceptualize the book from cover to cover. Set submission guidelines and standards for over 140+ contributors, sourced historic content, laid out incoming content, and worked closely with editors to align content with visual elements. As Publishing Consultant, I guided Alan through the bid, print, and distribution process for two print editions: a high-quality, limited-edition printing in the US (Edition One), and a larger, cost-effective run printed oversees (MCRL Canada).
